Make-up and Beauty
The desire to make oneself more beautiful is not a trap that women set for men, but a tool to attract men. Some say that life is harder for a woman than for a man, and indeed this may be the case or what females make us believe. Make-up can give confidence. Many of us see our face and body as surfaces to be altered to conform to who we would like to be or to describe an inner beautiful emotion. Hairstyles can be changed, facial hair is grown to add interest and make-up is applied to enhance certain features.
Make-up has been a favourite way to define oneself for a very long time. Nowadays make-up can be used to widen the eyes and plump up the lips. Lipstick can be used to create the illusion of larger features. Bright-red lipstick can be used to mimic the appearance of sexual excitement.
